  • Grant Updates

    Federally, local governments can check the following link for the latest federal discretionary grants: USDOT Key Notices of Funding Opportunity.  Federal grants require registration in Grants.gov, and EUI-Entity Identifier, a 12-character unique number assigned to all entities who must register to do business with the federal government in SAM-System for Award Management.  If you are considering a federal grant, it will be important to have an EUI and be registered in SAM.

FFY2025-2027 Awarded TASA Funds

The Quad Cities Transportation Policy Committee awarded $3,067,906 of Transportation Alternatives Set Aside (TASA) funds in the Quad Cities. These projects will be implemented in the next five years. Bi-State Regional Commission delegates the transportation programming authority to the Transportation Policy Committee to solicit applications and award funds in the Illinois-Iowa Quad Cities.

Bi-State Regional Commission is soliciting proposals for a transportation planning study to evaluate potential safety, access, and mobility improvements on the Andalusia Road – Indian Bluff Road corridor located in Rock Island County, Illinois and part of the Quad Cities, Iowa-Illinois Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA). The contract will be held by Bi-State Regional Commission in cooperation with Rock Island County, the Village of Milan, and the Cities of Moline and Rock Island. Mission Statement

A local, voluntary organization of five counties and 47 municipalities. We serve as a forum for intergovernmental cooperation and delivery of regional programs and to assist member local governments in planning and project development.
