The MPO Transportation Policy Committee has cancelled November and December meeting and will resume it schedule beginning January 23, 2024 at noon. Meeting details will be sent out one week in advance. The December 12, 2023 MPO Transportation Technical Committee has been cancelled, and will resume January 9, 2024.

Federal funding opportunities: Rebuild American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Program ($1.5 B available) (submission date 14 April 2022) and the Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIPD) ($450 M available) (submission date 16 May 2022). The Quad Cities Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA) receives certain federal transportation funds to prioritize and locally select projects for those funds. This is known as the project selection and programming process. The Quad Cities MPO Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) is delegated the authority to program funds by the Bi-State Regional Commission. The Bi-State Regional Commission, as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), receives its authority under the currently authorized federal transportation act.
